Dear Prospective Student,

The ability to think is the gift of the Creator, and the desire to know is divinely implanted. Proverbs 9:10 says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." So, proper recognition and respect for God is the first step of education. A wise man can render a reason for all he does, but a fool is smug in his thoughtlessness. A wise man will increase in wisdom, but a fool is closed-minded.

Education is a progression from Knowledge to Understanding to Wisdom, as the process of eating to digestion to physical energy. The Biblical Knowledge program centers on God's Word. The purpose of the program is to empower workers for the kingdom of God. We choose to live according to God's will by focusing on these Biblical principles:

Matt 28:19 "Go and make disciples…"
Mark 16:15 "Go and preach to all nations..."

As Harvest Mission Divine Institute is a Free program and is a non-denominational. It was founded in 2017. It is now possible for you to achieve the college or seminary training you have always wanted. Our students are enrolled in Program and are enjoying the benefits of in-depth biblical foundational teaching that is enabling them to skillfully evangelize the world for Christ in a minimal amount of time. Obviously, there is a great demand for this and we are privileged to provide this vital training by faith as a missionary endeavor trusting in the Lord to provide this through the body of Christ. The courses are Bible-based not concentrating on church history or doctrine but on the power of the Holy Spirit and the life-changing power of God's Word. There are courses to deepen your faith, strengthen your walk in God, as well as courses that will empower you in your service for God.

Our ultimate goal and purpose is to train ministers in the least expensive way possible so that our graduates can competently reach multitudes for Christ. We daily pray that our students become great in the kingdom of God. By faith, we also trust the Lord for our personal needs as well as the needs of the Institute and see God's miraculous provision in many ways. We hereby introduce an online bible college both in English and Malayalam.

It is our desire to equip men and women with the knowledge they need to become efficient in the field of labor to which God has called them. Also seeks to mold character through a wholesome and intellectual study of God's Word. We believe that all people, regardless of their educational level, should have an opportunity to receive a Bible education.

With catastrophic events escalating around the world, many are challenged within themselves and are seeking answers to find out why such things are taking place. This is why applying our lives to sound biblical instruction is so vital for the days ahead and why we believe God has opened the door to providing this anointed curriculum to our students.

Christ did not save us to live our lives for ourselves. We are to take up His cross daily and to fight the good fight of faith in fulfilling the great commission by winning others to Christ for His glory. And that is the bottom line in the Harvestime curriculum which equals out to personal and spiritual fulfillment that has great and eternal rewards.

1st John 5:4 & 5 says, "For whoever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God"

Syllabus - Diploma in Biblical Studies

Module 1: Introduction to Biblical Studies
1) FOUNDATIONS OF FAITH:
This course stresses the importance of proper spiritual foundations for life and ministry by focusing on foundations of the Christian faith identified in Hebrews 6:1: Repentance, faith, baptism, laying on of hands, resurrection, and eternal judgment.
2) CREATIVE BIBLE STUDY METHODS:
This course equips students for personal study of the Word of God after the conclusion of Institute training. Students learn how to study the Bible by book, chapter, paragraph, verse, and word. Other methods taught include biographical, devotional, theological, typological, and topical. Special guidelines for studying Bible poetry and prophecy are presented and students are taught methods of charting and outlining.
3) OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY:
This survey provides an overview of the Old Testament. Study outlines of each book of the OT are provided for further development by the student. Volume One: Introduction and Old Testament.
4) NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY:
This survey provides an overview of the New Testament. Study outlines of each book of the NT are provided for further development by the student. Volume Two: New Testament.

Module 2: Applying Biblical Studies: Personal
5) DEVELOPING A BIBLICAL WORLD VIEW:
This course examines the Biblical world view from Genesis through Revelation. God's plan for the nations of the world from the beginning of time is detailed. Current worldwide spiritual need is also presented.
6) KINGDOM LIVING:
The "Gospel of the Kingdom" shall be preached in all the world before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:14). Understanding of Kingdom principles is necessary if one is to spread the Gospel of the Kingdom. This course focuses on patterns and principles of Kingdom living applicable to life and ministry.
7) KNOWING GOD'S VOICE:
This course explains how God speaks to men today and how to find His general and specific plans for life. A Christian model for decision making is presented, along with guidelines for overcoming wrong decisions, steps to take if you have missed the will of God, and methods for dealing with questionable practices.
8) MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
This study focuses on the ministry of the Holy Spirit, spiritual fruit, and spiritual gifts. Students are guided in discovery of their own spiritual gifts and position of ministry in the Body of Christ.
9) SPIRITUAL WARFARE:
This course moves participants beyond the natural world into the realm of the spirit. Tactics of the enemy are analyzed and strategies of spiritual warfare assuring victory over the principalities and powers of the spirit world are explained.
10) POWER PRINCIPLES:
The early church was born in a demonstration of the power of God. Power principles taught in this course equip students for spiritual harvest and moves them from being spectators to demonstrators of the power of God.

Module 3: Applying Biblical Studies: Community
11) MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES:
A review of Biblical management principles with emphasis on servant leadership, Biblical leaders, and Scriptural strategies for success.
12) ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS:
Students learn environmental analysis on an individual, church, and organizational basis. They learn how to analyze the spiritual environment of a village, city, state or nation prior to penetrating it with the Gospel message.
13) MANAGEMENT BY OBJECTIVES:
Everything Jesus did center on the great purposes of God. This course analyzes Christ's objectives for ministry and teaches students to institute management by objectives in their own life and ministry.
14)MOBILIZATION METHODOLOGIES:
This course presents methods for mobilizing spiritual forces for God and explains the practical application of the Harvestime vision to specific areas of ministry. Referral courses in various areas of ministry are also available through this module.
15) EVANGELISM:
The Gospel of the Kingdom spreads throughout the world as leaven in bread dough: The leaven is small and hidden, but its impact is unlimited. Effective evangelism strategies are taught, including detailed instruction on the deliverance ministry, church planting, and techniques of networking between ministries.
16) STRATEGIES FOR SPIRITUAL HARVEST:
The initial call of Jesus Christ to men was to be spiritually reproductive: "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." His final command, that of the Great Commission, also challenged followers to spiritual reproduction.
Using the analogy of the natural harvest, this course focuses on promises of spiritual harvest, things that prevent harvest, and keys to effective harvest. It communicates the vision which the remainder of Institute training equips students to fulfill.

Module 4: Applying Biblical Studies: Special
17) TEACHING TACTICS:
This course examines the methods Jesus used to teach and preach the Gospel. Students are taught how to prepare and present lessons and how to teach and preach the Gospel.
18) MULTIPLICATION METHODOLOGIES:
God's plan for spiritual multiplication is presented. This study reveals how a single Christian can be responsible for the multiplication of thousands of trained and motivated believers.
19) JAIL AND PRISON MINISTRY:
A complete guide to jail and prison ministry. Includes guidelines for writing and visiting inmates, conducting group services inside an institution, reaching out to families of inmates, and ministering on death row.
20) WOMEN, A BIBLICAL PROFILE:
A study of all the Bible teaches about women and their role in ministry. It also includes a study of the Bible books bearing women's names--Ruth and Esther--and resources for a biographical study of all of the women of the Bible.
21) INTERCESSORY PRAYER:
An intercessory prayer guide that includes guidelines on how to pray, what to pray for, when not to pray, resources for prayer, international intercession, and factors that hinder prayer.
22) HEALING, BATTLE FOR THE BODY:
A study of all the Bible teaches about divine healing. Complete guidelines for receiving and ministering healing.
FAQ - General Questions:
What is Harvest Mission Divine Institute (HMDI)? HMDI is the free bible college, affiliated with Harvestime International Network, USA. It exists to make free bible study courses available via the Internet only.

What is the HMDI curriculum? HMDI uses the curriculum published by the Harvestime Institute. The curriculum is divided into four modules designed around a theme with each module generally increasing in the level of challenge it presents. Based on a foundation of biblical studies, the Harvestime curriculum brings learners closer to God through knowledge of the Word and experience of God's love. Beginning with a comprehensive overview of the scriptures, the HDMI curriculum integrates personal, community, and special applications of God's Word. By completing the program, learners encounter God's presence in their lives, work, church, and community.
Why are the courses free? This is just too good to be true! Thousands of students from around the world are deprived of a bible college education due to lack of funds and availability. HMDI specifically designed to be a blessing to the Body of Christ. We have been able to provide free education to benefit those who can not afford the exorbitant educational costs of other Christian college or Seminary.

How long does it take to complete the HMDI program? From the time a student enrolls to when a student completes all the courses, submits all their grades shall not be less than one calendar year. As the courses are entirely self-paced, which means that each person's time to completion will vary, that means that no student shall graduate in less than one (1) calendar year. Depending on your availability to study you may be able to complete 1-2 courses per month as each course differs in length. Learners should expect to spend approximately as much time on each course as they would on an equivalent college course. Normally it should take between one to two years to complete all 22 courses.

What if I can't complete an HMDI course because of personal reasons or otherwise? As all 22 HDI courses are self-paced, there is no time structure. This is distance learning, and you don't have to give up your job or position with your church and move to a distant city. We have no sessions or semesters.

How are the HMDI courses administered? Courses are delivered online in the popular Adobe Acrobat.PDF file format. Each course is a self-contained module of lessons, study assignments, and tests. Exams are proctored by a person of notable integrity and honesty and completed are submitted to HDI online. We operate on the honor system. All exams are closed book, so to speak and no self-tests are to be accessed during any exams.

Do I have to memorize all the scripture verses? Memorization of all scripture verses in the courses is not mandatory but they are recommended and helpful to everyday life, to the value of the point of the course and to your spiritual growth. As God's word is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword discerning men's hearts and intentions (Hebrews 4:12), the scriptures contain the supernatural power through which God can change our hearts, our desires, our lives, and our circumstances so they are a very valuable part of the studies. If you have the time and interest, please read and meditate on the verses as they are life-changing and communicate God's love and His desires for us.

What denomination are you? Our personal background is New Testament Church. This ministry is not about any organized religion or denomination, for us to state being Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ. We work inter-denominational, between denominations. Can I get college accredited for HMDI courses? HMDI has been established by a theologically accredited institution of higher learning,
Bible-based education and training to Christians worldwide for spiritual enrichment and for spiritual ministry. Religious accrediting associations are recognized. There is secular education and there is religious education. Secular schools seek secular accreditation, and sacred schools receive sacred accreditation - each by their own peers. Religious institutions need no secular accreditation because they offer no secular degrees. We will always maintain the highest spiritual, biblical, and academic quality and our courses shall remain free of tuition fees.

How to read bible studies

God has laid down in his word how to obtain the truth from the scriptures. Leviticus 11:1-8 describes how to obtain "clean meat" under the law and gives the principles for us to obtain spiritually "clean meat", that is, the truth from God's word. Two things are essential, the scripture must be rightly divided (dividing the hoof), and it must be meditated upon (chewing the cud). These scriptures need therefore to be meditated upon, so go over the same scripture over and over again, just as a cow chews the same food over and over. Reading the scriptures through without meditation is equivalent to dividing the hoof, but not chewing the cud. This is the same as eating swine's flesh, which is unclean meat (Leviticus 11:7), it provokes God's anger (Isaiah 65:3-4), and he will ultimately consume those that do it (Isaiah 66:15-17). The best way is to read the scriptures aloud over and over, because by doing this you will be seeing the words, saying the words, and hearing the words, all of which help the word to enter into your heart.

Secondly, study with a humble and open heart, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." (James 4:6); he is under no obligation to open the understanding of anyone who thinks that they already know it all.

Thirdly, be prepared to change your ideas if God shows you something new. "Stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." (1 Samuel 15:23), and those who stubbornly refuse to change when some new truth is revealed to them are resisting perfection. Nobody will ever make perfection unless they are prepared to change every single belief that they currently
hold, when it is revealed through the rightly divided scriptures to be wrong. When Jesus returns again, he is coming for a perfect church, "a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; ... holy and without blemish." (Ephesians 5:27).
My prayer is that God will bless with understanding all those who approach these studies with an open and humble heart, that we may all be part of that glorious church when the day comes.

Eligibility
Anyone who is interested in Bible studies and has sufficient knowledge of Malayalam or English can participate in this course. You can complete this course either English or Malayalam language. Each applicant must be a born-again Christian who is seeking to live a Christlike life, separate from sin and worldliness. He or she must maintain an approved Christian character, plus a willingness to do all work required, and a willingness to submit cheerfully to the discipline and regulations of the institute. Harvest Mission Divine Institute admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin and does not discriminate on the basis of these.

Certificates will be given to those who successfully complete the course. Those who complete the whole course will obtain a "Diploma in Biblical Studies" "Diploma in Counseling" and "Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies" All study course materials are available for you to download (PDF) as a free gift.

Specific suggestions for doing the lessons
Before each lesson, pray for God to give a teachable heart and understanding.
Begin the lesson by reading the related text in its entirety.
Write your answers to the questions of the lesson. Try to be as clear and concise as possible. Use your own words.
1) Read the text,
2) Understand the meaning of what is said,
3) Put that meaning into your own words,
4) Do not merely quote the text!

5) Determine how many chapters are within the course you desire to study.
6) Decide how many days you are going to study each week.
7) Determine how many chapters per day you will need to study in order to complete all of the chapters in the course.
8) Please do not rush! Meditate on what God wants you to learn.
9) Don't go to the next question until you have completed the current one.
We suggest you set a regular time each week for doing the study, perhaps on the same weekday evening.
